HEALTH – MORE WEALTH

Motherhood is the greatest gift given to a woman by nature. And the issue of the protection of the health of the mother and child have been identified as one of the priority directions of the policy of our country.

As is known, this year was called, "Year of healthy mother and child" in our country and "Year of healthy mother and child" state program was adopted ". The implementation of assigned

duties in the program is serving ensure the quality of the work and a higher level of efficiency in this direction. In this regard, deputy of medical association of maternal and child health protection of the district and Dilnoza Umarova and chief doctor of the central district polyclinic Abduvahob Bozorov told the following about the work being carried out in Ulugnor district:

- Specific work is being carried out on the implementation of "Year of healthy mother and child " State program as well as "On preventing birth of disabled people from childhood and early determining birth and genetic diseases during 2013-2017 years in state program" on March 12, 2013 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and "On strengthening the reproductive health of the population in Uzbekistan, the maternal protection of the health of children and

teenagers on the state program in 2014-201 years" on August 1, 2014,  on the implementation of the resolutions and other documents, and maternal and child health in our district. Currently more branch central polyclinic of medical association aimed at 250 visits, children’s department of more branch central polyclinic aimed at 110 visits, 13 rural health centers show medical

services to population. Our treatment facilities were provided with modern, advanced medical equipment within the framework of projects "Health-2", "Health-3". Even necessary conditions were created for the restoration of their health for mothers who faced the difficult birth process. Intensive therapy department was established aimed at premature birth and infants require special care in order to hold a deep investigation. As a result early detection of diseases, accurate diagnosis and effective treatment radically have been improved.

Today, 15037 of the population of our district are children under the age of 14 with 2422 of them teenagers, including 14938 women, 14446 of them are women of childbearing age.

Women of childbearing age, adolescent girls and children were done thorough medical examination during the period of the current year based on a plan. 762 girls and women who were identified different diseases in during the check were involved in the form of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation.

Especially a large scale work being carried out in cooperation with the members of the "Health sector" at councils of women’s committee activists, local citizens on the protection of the health of mothers and children, control the health of pregnant women by doctors giving positive results. As a result of these efforts safe motherhood is being ensured, birth of children with disabilities has significantly decreased. Maternal mortality hasn’t observed at all.

Special attention is being paid to form skills of healthy lifestyle among the population and in the families, to develop the issue of citizens' medical knowledge and culture. Patronage nurses’ activity is playing an important role in the organization of such work. Patronage nurses are

working on the system and basis of the plan with certain layers of the population. In particular, with whom they set out to work each day of the week was assigned. Monday – veterans’ day, Tuesday- pregnant women’s day, Wednesday – children’s and teenagers’ day, Thursday – day of  house and the environment, Friday - women's day, Saturday – day of health, the environment and sport.

Girls are being prepared to a family through the meetings, talks and conversation being held in mahallas and educational institutions with the participation of our doctors, as well as mothers with rich life experience, their concepts about the family life is being enriched and necessary information are being given to them, explanatory work is being carried out on the negative consequences of early marriage between relatives and preventing the occurrence of such negative cases.

      Health of mother and child - the foundation of a healthy life in the future. So every woman wants to bring a healthy child into the world. We doctors’ main duty is helping our women to obtain this happiness that is the birth of a healthy baby and upbringing their babies healthy. In

order to achieve this all the necessary work will bee carried out by doctors of our district.
